Forehead Stripes On The Faceplate

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out which is accurate about the forehead stripes on the faceplate. Are the ends of the stripes rounded off or are they flat? I've seen decals shaped both ways. I'm ting to hand paint them on ad I can't stand decals, but I don't know which way I should go with them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They are rounded and are water slides. If you plan on going Lancer they have to be decals.

Should have added this in my first post. You want to get Trooperbay decals. There screen accurate. Just not slides like the film helmets.

I dont think painting them on would affect lancer as long as they are stenciled on and look identical to the decals, not all squiggly wiggly lol

Really? I thought they had to be decals.

The CRL for Lancer doesn't specify whether or not they need to be decals or can be painted on. It just says as long as the colors and positioning are accurate.

Painting is always better. This will not keep it from Lancer.
