AShadyPanda
Hey guys thanks for the compliments On a serious note, my purchases are on par with my budget and deadline for my build. I'm buying my soft armor all at once from the same place (Max's Sci-Fi Creation Shop), along with my Blaster (DVH) and helmet (Chef). Then I'm buying my armor, gloves, balaclava and boots. EDIT: Also seeing as you are also a Lego person, feel free to check out my thread! I posted pics of my collection!

I dont necessarily have a timeline for my build as it is just something that I've wanted. So it's more of a bucket list item type thing. Just having a hard time swallowing the pricing which shouldnt be a surprise. Just trying to figure out a way to fund it/justify it to the wife. I have a hard enough time doing that with my other hobbies which include legos and guns. Might have to sell gun stuff to pay for trooper stuff. LOL. Im thinking about getting in with that Altmann helmet buy, a DVH blaster, SC armor, and havent decided on the soft stuff. Was thinking of Marcel for the cummerbund, pouches, and boots. Wampa for the gloves and flightsuit...too many things to figure out not to mention justifying the costs. LOL

LOL Here's an example for justification: we raised almost $2000 for Children's Miracle Network in just 4 hours this past weekend. Feels fantastic 😃
Retrofire
I did it a little at a time and worked my way up over a year and a half or so. Todd is right on point and while we love SW it's making a difference in people's lives that really makes the difference. Think of it as a really cool way to "pay it forward". When I first started I was going to be a Stormtrooper (TK) and I read this article about how a little girl fighting cancer was visited by a garrison and she asked the trooper if he would escort her to her chemo session when he did and waited till she was done and escorted her back. I saw this picture and I was all in: I've since become a Scout as that's my forte' but it's the people (here and in public) and the smiles that keep me hooked. We're philanthropists in armor
TB-8215
So...apparently I do have a timeline as I'd want to get it done before Halloween this year so I can lead my little Wookie while she goes trick or treating. I know a lot of it is determined by budget but can a suit be made in 2-3 months or so? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
Shada
In terms of timing, I ordered my SC armour on 13 March and it arrived in New Zealand on 24 March - it's now 20 May and I'm submitting my approval pics tonight, so just under 2 months. Ordered my Altman bucket on the same day and it arrived last week, but didn't need any real effort at that point aside from adding the liner. By the time it arrived, I'd completed everything else. I may have been lucky, in that the armour pretty much just fit me without needing major modification so I was really just sanding and gluing - if I had to shape it a lot (like in the Pandatrooper build) it would have taken longer. I made the boots and soft armour myself (with a little help sewing the suede). So, yeah, Halloween is definitely achievable as long as you order the parts soon.
