Jafogator Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Looking at Hobby Lobby for boot material and see a white vinyl but didn't know if thickness would be concern and a slight pattern (faux leather pattern). Anyone else look at material here? Quote
Stroker Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 That's what I use however I buy mine from eBay. It has a very very light grain. I use the Marine grade. Watch some of the faux leather. It can be the correct thickness but can be tore easily. Quote
stasz Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Yep. Marine grade has this soft "foam-like" -for lack of a better description - backing to it that helps keep the boot stove pipes up and gives it some durability. JoAnn carries it for sure. I would think HL would be similar. If it's Marine Grade, that's the stuff. Quote
SikSiks Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Picked mine up at Joann before I saw this, seems pretty durable I guess I will find out when I build my boots Quote
