Stroker
OK I'm not that good at sewing and my machine doesnt like vinyl. So will these pass or do I need to try again? The only problem is that the velro doesn't go all the way up to the top of the boot. My machine bunches up and chews its up when I try to take the velcro over the folded down part. stasz
I don't believe that the length of the Velcro closure is a spec, per sé, but I obviously defer to a Lancer on this. Looks good though!
Retrofire
Here's a shot of my boots. I had Chrisx909x make the soft parts and I assembled them and attached the holster. I would have to agree with Stasz. There's no spec that I've seen and it looks good to me. Maybe shoot Griffin-X a PM and see what he thinks. He's a detachment armorer and a Lancer. He was really helpful to me recently when I had questions about the color of my TD tube.
Chunk
Open up your machine, blow out all the dust & lint, then add a few drops of 3-1 oil to all the springs & moving parts. It nothing too technical, maybe 2-3 screws. My machine has 2 screws, my moms has 3. Depending on your machine either open the end or remove entirly. (Mine comes off, moms swivels like a door) my machine snags on the hook velcro when its dirty. Once oiled sews like it was brand new.

Stroker
Well Joe was right. My machine was pretty dirty. Also this is the much thinner material that's has no grain I'm use to the thicker grained stuff. In the words of a wise man from Nova Scotia... I just got learnt! Thanks gents.
