Rudie Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 So I've assembled my helmet, but after drilling and screwing everything together I noticed that little gap in the top left corner between the vistor and the face plate. My first instinct was that it wasn't a big deal, but the more I look at it I think it's making the whole helmet look lopsided. It's even making the decals look off-centered. Maybe they are, but this gap is really starting to drive me crazy. Everything is screwed together, like I said. Any suggestions on how I can deal with this? Thank you! Quote
Rudie Posted April 23, 2016 Author Posted April 23, 2016 Sorry, not sure why the picture uploaded sideways. Also, any other feedback on how things look would also be great! Quote
Stroker Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Can you take it back off and glue it down in that spot? That's looks to be the problem. I mean I don't have it right in front of me either. Quote
spike Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 should be a "raised" section in the form.take a look in the top corner. you might be able to fill it, "bondo"? Quote
Rudie Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 Okay, thanks. I think bondo may work better than glue since I can't really lower the visor without offsetting the drilled holes. Probably have to play around with it to make it as level as possible. Quote
