chubby scout armor selection

Hello, im sure this has been discussed before but i have a question on what kit i would fit in better, i have to convince my wife that this armor is an essential family item (how else am i supposed to defend the empire,coz jeans and a t-shirt wont cut it). basically i need to know what would fit better before i spend money on the armor:-

 

5'10" 240 lbs 50" chest 13" forearms 17" biceps eyes blue

 

any advise greatly received

You're fine Gavin. You'll get more replies if you post this in the armor area. The best place to start is over in the Armor forum that's where you can get a good read on the different types out there. Another area in the Biker Scout HQ where this post is. You can look through the build threads there and see some of the different types in assembly. It's a great place to learn too!

Im about your size, 5'8, 250lbs & I wear a mismatch of armor. But I have found that SC does have large chest & back plates. You should be fine with ordering from them. I have SC chest & back & here's how I wear it.

Spike has been making a new armor set also that may be worth a look.
