Hip box distance

Trying to finish up the belt and not sure if there is a set length that the hip boxes are to hang at. Can't find anything in the CRL about a set length. Thanks

I go by ref pics/screen caps, but generally they should be about 3" -4" or so from the belt i believe.

Pretty much what Lou suggests, but I'd add that the gap shouldn't be MORE than 3-4 inches. Ideally, the bottom of the hip boxes shouldn't be below your crotch. If they are, pull those boxes up. There's precedent for them being 1-2 inches from the belt.

 

Again, as Lou said, go by the reference pics and screen grabs.
