Helmet

My wife is wanting to do a scout and we were wondering - she has really thick hair and sometimes it is in ponytail or bun --- will SC fit her or would she need to look into other helmets?

How long? A balaclava is required for approval and that helps a bunch. I know a couple of other women including my wife who has really really long hair and thick and she wears a small Buck Rogers TI helmet. They have different ways of fixing their hair before the bucket goes on. Plus like I said the balaclava with help a lot.

It's not long as it is thick. She tried to do a lekku for her jedi and it hardly would fit with a skull cap

Depending on actual head size along with the hair you might still be able to pull it off. Maybe someone with a SC will chime in.

My girlfriend has the SC helmet and long hair.

 

The helmet is very small, and yesterday was her first long troop with it. She tried it in a bun, and the balaclava helped, but she says the helmet was a tight fit. Was actually here today to look for other helmet options for her, heh.

 

If you already have the helmet assembled, I'd say try some test fits at home and see how she likes it.
