Ducky Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Has anyone ever tried dyeing old coveralls black? I have a bunch of navy ones that got phased out for the new flame-resistant ones, and was wondering if anyone had tried it before. They're 65% polyester, 35% cotton, and super-comfortable.
Stroker Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 You can but, it's gonna be a pain in the a#$! The poly blendis gonna be hard to dye. It's gonna require some very hot water and washing machine. Still the poly blend stuff is a headache and not really worth it when a pair of black coveralls can be picked up for less than $30.
Ducky Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 Good to know, thanks. Haven't tried to dye before, but figured it would be worth asking, at any rate. Save some trouble down the road.
