Let me know what you guys think. I'm trying for Lancer, so details matter. I know the bund needs to come up just a tad. Nevermind the chicken legs.

Overall, it's good. Needs a few small tweaks:

1. pull those hip boxes up. Ideally, they should be no more than a couple of inches below the bottom edge of the belt.

2. pull those shoulder bells up. Give yourself a 2-3 finger width distance from the shoulder bell to the chest/back strap at the top.

3. once you've done #2, you can pull your biceps up a bit more.

Thanks for the comments. Those are easy fixes.

I made an ABS insert with 3 sides for each pouch, that way the side against my chest can curve naturally and it only fills out the 3 sides that point outwards. It's light and comes out easily.

Apart from what has been mentioned already.

The two inch elastic between the chest/back plates should be changed out for something smaller and webbing. Using the same fabric as you have for your drop boxes. That usually does the job.

I'd knock your pouches out a little bit (not a lot... just to the edges of the ribbing, so you can see all the ribs between the pouches)

There appears to be some diagonal stitch lines on the velcro joining section of the bund at the back. These will need to be removed.

The "elastic" between the back and chest is actually cotton fabric webbing tape.

Yea, the diagonal marks on the bund are from a sewing mistake and not actually there, it's just the marks after removing the threads. I'm trying to figure out how to get the fabric to go back to normal so the holes are as visible. Hopefully without having to redo the bund, that would be a nightmare.

Thanks

Ok... just looks a bit stretchy that's all (slightly see through). Not a drama. Width might still be an issue.

For getting rid of the marks...

Use the end of a pen or sharpie marker (not the nib... the other end!!), rub in line with the weave left to right up and down then spray with water and iron and there gone.

Thanks for the tips. I'll give it a try and also take a look at the chest/back piece. I have plenty of fabric left from the pouches if I need to go hat route.
