Hello guys i have a quick question about the blaster for the biker scout how do most of you guys secure it to your boot as it is a big concern for a newbie like my self thanks

Use pop rivets and a backing washer or something in every corner so the rivets don't pull through the boot

What about for the rubber Hyperfirm pistol? Any suggestions since its rubber?

Replace the trigger guard with steel one. Just cut a strip of 1/8" thick steel, bend it in a vice. Drill some holes and install it. Then add your magnets to the holster like on my build.

Another option that I use, is to hot glue some thin bits of white craft foam in the holster so that the blaster wedges itself in. I've had kids tug on it and not be able to get it out, and I don't have to modify the blaster at all. ;)

You can also drill out the circle (in red) on the hand grip and glue in a rare earth magnet, and sew a little pouch on the inside of the boot enclosing another magnet or metal piece to bind to, or even put Velcro on your trigger guard (in green), and corresponding Velcro in the holster.

Honestly, if I'm trooping with my blaster I hold it 98% of the time. But I do think it looks Badass in the boot holster.

I have a magnet in the round trigger noted in the pic. It corresponds with a piece of white metal secured to the inner section of my holster. It holds my blaster in place perfectly.

Can you provide a pic of the inside of your holster? I have a Hyperfirm and I'd like to try this method before I cut into my blaster. Thanks!

Rather than using a strong magnet, would it be feasible to make a small black leather strap with a popper ?

One that goes over the back of the handle when the blaster is in the holster ?

That doesn't seem approvals to me.

You could also trim some sticky back Velcro to the front of the trigger guard and the other side in your holster. Nobody will even see the Velcro. It hides in plain site.

It wouldn't pass if you could see it. Which I don't like the idea however I've seen some done this way. The magnet is the way to go. It's a super easy mod.

For the rubber Hyperfirm pistol I was able to embed a small strip of steel into the rubber of the trigger guard and secure with some epoxy - then epoxy in rare earth magnet into the holster - working great.

Fastest easiest method, for my dads hyperfirm pistol was he took a small strip of Velcro and applied the fuzzy side in the holster and THEN painted the holster with spraypaint to color the Velcro white too. Then he added the rough side of the Velcro strip right under the gun muzzle so its basically invisible. Its virtually in noticeable, and its held up for going on 11 years with NO problems.
