NinjaScout Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Mud flap is pinned. Can someone take a look and see if it looks right? I think I have the right height and rear coverage but is the piece too wide? I can cut some off and re-pin before sewing. Thanks, scouts! Quote
Griffin-X Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I'd scale it back about 1/2" on the sides and about 3/4" on the bottom. The top is good but could be about 1/2" lower on the suit. Quote
NinjaScout Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 Jim, Just to echo back before I cut... Take 1/2 inch off of each side - 1 Inch total Take 3/4 inch off the bottom Move the whole thing down 1/2 inch. It may end up on the elastic band on the redkap. Should it be above or below that band? Thanks! Quote
Griffin-X Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 You got it. The flap should be right at the elastic band. That's how mine (a Redkap) is setup. Quote
Chunk Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Is that a RedKap suit? Just make the patch as wide as the 2 pleats & if it is a RedKap just sew it at the base of the "waistband". I make the riding patch the width of the pleats & add 1 inch to the length. For example, it the with of the pleats is 11 inches i will make the length 12 inches. 2 Quote
NinjaScout Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 Thanks, Gentlemen. I'll make adjustments and repost. Quote
