42unclejoe Posted January 22, 2016 Share Posted January 22, 2016 Hi all, I have been searching the internet for the 3M speedglass bolts to use on the helmet and have had no luck. From what I gather they have been discontinued. So my question is are there any alternatives? I have a preassembled SC helmet with the elevator bolts and was wondering if they would pass regs if they were painted light grey. Thanks in advance. shoeben82 Posted January 22, 2016 Share Posted January 22, 2016 Hi, like a lot of parts, they are very occasionally available on ebay and the old headbands with grey bolts do appear on there. There is a very similar headband with grey bolts on at the moment (please correct me if i'm wrong!) - ebay number 272079571791 but is quite pricey.
