alexmorris21
Hey everyone, as a noob I have been searching through forums and youtube trying to find tutorials for many of the things that we aspiring troop have to make ourselves or spend a ton of money to get them made for us. I found this video earlier tonight and although I haven't attempted a boot build yet, this looks extremely helpful. I was dreading the boots just about as much as I am the cummerbund and pouches but now, I feel like I can do it. I hope this hasn't been posted yet and if it has then here it is again! Hope this helps yall as much as it did me!

alexmorris21
i went on the crl to make mine. i found the video confusing. hehe What did you find confusing? I haven't tried building them yet so I may be missing something that I would catch when everything is in front of me so it would be good to see that before I start. did you just use the photos in the CRLs or is there a tutorial in them that I'm missing? kayelbe
Please don't follow that video. He doesn't stretch the toe covering, and for gosh sake he doesn't even know how to use a pop-rivet gun! He's grinding up his holster trying to remove the mandrel.

How would you recommend stretching the toe covering?
