Opinions on this lid?

Hey all, after searching for a lid kit I came across this helmet. Its unnamed.. What do you think?

Its £130 and fiberglass BTW..

The first set of pics with 4 helmets shown are Cucblack ( CB) pieces. I don't know what the ones with the weird seams behind the ears are from. I don't think CB ( even with all his issues) would make a helmet like that . Where did you find it listed for sale?

looks nice though.....Strongly resmebles a smoothed 3d print....but looks nice, not sure about accuracy

The first and last look like DP Deluxe, the other looks like an Altmanns recast, the sun shade part looks odd, thin and see through. As 01Hawk said, the seams are weird, they aren't usually made that way (from what I know). The seam is usually down the middle.

If that isn't being sold by Cucblack those images are stolen. Reverse image search of the first picture ( the one with 4 helmets in it) goes back to ads posted in forums by CB years ago. They don't look like the same helmets in each group of photos and I never saw him make one that was seamed in a place like that

I would say leave it, those are clearly two different helmets whatever make they are. Its most likely false advertising and who knows what you might end up getting.

 

Rubies are officially licenced by LFL and they still con you! Their Boba Fett helmet looks really good in their photos but this is what you get. Just look at the way the dent is lazily painted.

Its OK. I think I'm going to go with a Chef bucket or an MLC eventually.

Oh by the way, I just thought.. If I do get an MLC, and then get armour , whats the colour difference going to be like between the two?

That ad is From CB. You can learn all about him in the vendor problem posting. He is the only one in there.

 

I think MLCs come primered and may take you a bit of time to get one.

you can get them pre painted too and mine took about a month to get

Yeah, I've been in touch with Mardon and he's quoted me a month for a helmet! I've messaged LW too hoping he is still active? Unsure between a full SC set or MLC and a separate kit!

Besides that, I'm Still debating on a TK or TB haha. I have the money to get a full RS commission if I did go TK, but I'm not sure whether I should dive in and attempt it myself! A little nervous... Lol
