NinjaScout Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Does this side pocket stay or go? I ask because this one might be a little tricky to remove - I would have to split the leg seam to get it all it looks like.
wookieevader Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 It has to go....split the seam by using a seam ripper....basically you need to unsew the pocket and restitch the leg seam Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk 1
NinjaScout Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Thanks WookieEvader! It shall be done. I need to take in the legs anyway.
bwattsup Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 When you take in legs Phillip, it's best to do it on the inseams instead of the outer seams. Just split the side enough to remove the pocket, and resew. 2
NinjaScout Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 Thanks, Barry. I'll keep that in mind. They need to come in a lot.
Bobik96 Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 It's probably not proper sewing but I took mine in on the outside. By doing it this way I didn't have to remove the pocket. 1
Oblivian Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Is taking them in just an advantage of less bulk sagging/baggyness when the hard parts straps are on? Being 6'3 and reasonably trim the tall editions I got don't appear to look to bad as-is. Almost suit like (and damn hot in 26deg C weather!)
Bobik96 Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Yes. With the boots and side elastic on, it can make the thighs look baggy.
CRISTONAMO Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 they do not need to be removed for basic, cause they are not even visible in final suitup.
Oblivian Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Crap. Anyway done. Needle punctures visible and all Sent from my XT1092 using Tapatalk
stasz Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 they do not need to be removed for basic, cause they are not even visible in final suitup. That side pocket is visible and needs to go for basic clearance. One could argue the chest pockets can stay since they're covered by the vest and chest armour, but I just used those to practice cutting the bar tacks without destroying the coverall. 1
CRISTONAMO Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Where is the pocket located exactly? Maybe i am confused.
