Actually I have kind of a general question here. I'm looking to trade out of a Jodo Kast (think Boba Fett with different colors, saved you Googling it) and have been offered a biker. Still really early in talking with the fellow but I'm wanting to get a feel for what a complete cost estimate of a biker can be. I've heard $1200 as a starting point, but of course that all depends on who made what parts and so on. I've built a Vader so I know these things can get spendy in a hurry. I'll commit the cardinal sin here and admit I've done 0 research but until a short while ago I'd never considered a biker. I'm just looking for what I suppose the top and bottom ends of the spectrum for cost would be. Should I decide to pursue the costume further I'm sure i'll have it picked over here before pulling any kind of trigger on a trade but wanted to see what I should be looking for in value of a complete kit. Thanks and hopefully you all don't hate me too much, but figured I'd better get as wide a swath of answers before I move on anything. I have granted you 501st access to make things easier for you. The scout costume price range is between $700-$1000 on average. I would expect a scout costume going for $1200 to have ALL the required Lancer updates (correct snout, bund, helmet, straps, etc.). Whereas a "general clearance" scout would be much less. I'm going to get some pictures of what he's got and may end up posting here for assessments since again I'm ignorant on who makes what and what's best etc. And that's for the 501st access, I'm on so many detachments and it's usually to PM the DL for costume questions, so thank you! I've spent about a third more on my gear but I wanted to have only tailored soft parts and the new CfO RS Props helmet ;-) But as others have stated you can get a pretty decent setup for 1,2k. I'm anticipating spending that much or more on my Fett. Guess I'm just a glutton for punishment but dang if I don't like the super pretty things. I appreciate the information guys, I think I've got a handle on what to estimate on value. I've not heard back from the fellow, mayhaps a significant other shot it down, who knows.
