sibbel29 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Hi everyone: Anyone familiar with Stargates helmets on Artfire.com They look very comfortable, but are these ready for approval. As far as I can see they have the correct bolts ( correct me if I am wrong), but I think it needs different transfers . Any thoughts, info? Thanks everyone!!!! 01Hawk Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 That looks like a StarFortress helmet. If you search them you will find tons of negative posts. The shape of the helmet is wrong in many places. 4
Griffin-X Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Yep, it's a SF crap original. Move along and don't waste your time. It'll never pass. 3
Chef Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Avoid that little offering like a virulent itching condition. You'll thank us in the long run. 2
sibbel29 Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 Thanks guys!! this is why I am soo happy with this forum. a big shoutout to all of you! I will go for the SC armor and helmet. thanks again!
Nikko Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 SC armor is fantastic. The helmet can be made so with some pretty easy modifications. I have both armor and helmet from SC, and everything looks great now. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 1

Oblivian Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Bit of a hijack, Do the ALTs visors lift out of the way cleanly?. I'm often thrown under the bus as able to answer questions with an open face, So be nice to continue to do so Sent from my XT1092 using Tapatalk

Oblivian Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Enough to show a large portion of face I take it. Hmm time to hide the credit card... Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Enough to show all of your face not hidden by the balaclava. It lifts all the way up, and will stay up if you have the bolts nice and tight.

This idea was used on the Fett sensor stalk. cheers

GuanWolf Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Saw one of these on Etsy when I was first looking. Glad I didn't buy it. 2
Cow Dr.Ey267 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 all of this info is very helpful. i made the mistake (because of lack of knowledge) and bought a SF and it is atrocious. Any guidance would be appreciated. 1
