Helmet Setup Critique

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

How are the ear and lens cuts?

(I had to sand the paint on the nose region because it bubbled a bit, decals I'll pop on later tonight until trooper bay ones come in for lancer)

Overall any other critiques welcome

Exactly like Joe said, but you also need to round off the top "corners" as well. I posted this comparison picture in your lens thread, and I still don't sit any change from then. I just made another one with paint to help you see some of the changes that need to be made Tristan. The only one I didn't paint in is the the bottom rounded tips and the ears. Hope it helps. :)

Barry with the assist! Well done.

Scouts helping Scouts. I love it.

Use Barry's pic for the ear reference as well. They're open more than you'd think. You're getting there!

Aww Barry that's just wicked man, I'm basically gonna draw those lines on and go from there. You can kinda see where I took the top line up, and rounded the sides, but it clearly still wasn't enough. I'm still semi paranoid about going too far, but those paint lines will make it easier.

The ears I knew were too small, but same deal, didn't wanna over so it. The decals are on for now, it makes me giddy seeing it so close. Thanks again for all the input!

No problem Tristan. That's what were here for. :) Don't draw those lines exact. lol Lord knows I had a hard enough time drawing those on with a mouse. Remember to keep all "corners" rounded. No sharp angles on the lens cutout.
