Little help with rubies helmet

Hi, I know it's not everyone's first choice in helmet, but I picked up a rubies biker scout helmet and am just looking for a few pointers as to my progress modifying it, it only cost me £35 so was a real bargain, but typically was nearly flat, I have reshape do the main helmet part and reinforced it with aluminum bar, would you mind looking at the pictures to see if you think it's back to the 'right' shape, something looks a little off and I just can't put my finger on what it is, I think it's flaring still around the middle

By the way I have no idea why the pictures are upside down, but they go the right way when you open them

I would recommend trying to get ahold of BSN member CRISTONAMO, I believe he likes to buy Rubies/Don Post helmets and make them troopable for fun... might have some good advice

I would agree, the helmet is still too flared out and needs to be made more narrow.
