Size does matter! MLCv3 Helmet

I'm considering purchasing a MLCv3 helmet for trooping. However, I am concerned about the size of my noggin being too Iarge to fit properly inside the MLC. I wear a 7 1/2" hat and have a 23.5" circumference head. I'd like to hear from some scouts that wear the MLCv3 lid, to see just how big of a cranium will squeeze comfortably into the MLCv3 so I can avoid a costly mistake! Thanks!

I have a 23" circumference head and the MLC3 just fit me. the space inside gave me a little room but the the front bottom of the main helmet is angled inward alot and thats where my head JUST fit through.

I am 24-24.5" and the MLC fit really well.

I have a 24" head and tried on an mlc the other day and it fit just fine.

You gents have large domes compared to me
