Question on cumberbum

Was in Walmart and seen the big 18" Biker scout and noticed stitching around box. If it was to scale a would say 1/2 inch around boarder of flap. Would this be acceptable? Thanks

Don't base it off an action figure. Movie ones are stitched and then folded inside out.

 

Just think. Would it be acceptable to do 8 ribs on the cummerbund because an action figure has it? Or 5 as seen in the movies?
