ferra
A little more done today, the camo spots are done, still a lot to paint(in black) in the buy'ce tho...
ferra
Hope all you guys had a nice peaceful Easter with your loved ones, I had and also some free time to paint:
Bally
I suppose I can say now, but that looks so much better than your previous job. The sponge seems to work well. Are you planning on adding any burnt scoring to the blaster hits in the chest piece?
ferra
Hell yeah, first i paint the chipped details then carbon scoring and then dirt. This is my favorite part of the painting process... Still have to finish the buy'ce, I have a lot of masking to do on the snout/aerators and also the stencil details of the "trapezoids"(sp?), "teardrops", the "rectangular bars" and the "fishhook"... only afterwards i'll get into the chipped details and such... ferra
I think i found the solution for glueyng the buckle to the belt: Also did the straps on the other leg and weathered both straps: Finished the silver detailing on the visor:
ferra
It´s late so the Cummerbund is gonna get finished tomorrow, today I spray painted black the tops of the foam pieces I used to fill the pouches, to give a better look if you are peeking over the edge of the flaps: Weathered the 'bund: Placement of the pouches, they look pretty crammed together because i'm pretty small:

ferra
IMO the most chalenging part of the KT is done, I´m not handy with fabrics and needles so I had lots of help from Chris Hale and my seamstress helped put the belt and the hanging pouches in place. Afterwards had to paint the belt and you already know it was kinda troublesome. Stitched the regular pouches in place myself:

TXBolt
Keep the updates coming. It's helping a lot with my mental preparation. I can't wait until the tax deadline is over (I own a CPA firm) so I can actually get working on my own with force (ugh... bad pun).

ferra
Apart from the helmet, I believe everything else is done save putting in the right place(webbing+snaps+rare earth magnets):

ferra
This is slowly getting there, but I need your help: Shoulders seem good, but I may shorten the lenght of the elastic strap by 1cm: The right arm armor need to be raised by 2cm? can´t come up much more or it will be hitting the shoulder bell: The left arm needs to come up by 3cm? But it´s a little misaligned, how do you cope with that? Just fill it with foam it sits REAL snug? Is that it? Please let me know your thoughts. Rezboy
I sewed Velcro on my shoulders and that's how it attaches rather than straps. I also added Velcro to my biceps and that's how I keep them attached as well. I think the straps lets them hand down too much in my opinion.
