Ammonites
Need to fix a couple things on my KS bucket, namely the snout area. It has a sticker and frankly looks poor. Don't want to bother complaining to them about it and be put on a waiting list again. Looks like the aerator is just glued on. Any suggestions before I start tampering? Plan is to remove the sticker, paint the snout area and replace the aerator using a screw. Just hope my skills are up to the challenge. Will also be adding some extra padding and some dive lenses since I can't wear my glasses under the bucket.
Chex
I would order a new snout all together. KS snouts are not accurate at all. You can get one from DVH, he has a thread in the For Sale section on the boards. Peel the sticker off, paint the snout on the face plate and you can glue the resin snout you end up getting directly onto the faceplate. Just make sure you don't paint the parts that are getting glued. It's what I did and I haven't had a problem in almost 5 years.
