cricket71
Ok. The color of the pop rivet on the belt are steel or white? How about the rivets on the straps? There is mention of a white rivet on the back of the belt strap connecting the TD on the CRL, how about that? It's been 9 years and I had to get a new belt, so need to know to be correct for current standards 😃
Chef
Belt ones are steel coloured. There is mention of a white rivet on the back of the belt strap connecting the TD on the CRL, how about that? No idea what you mean there bud... Here's direct from the CRL (with the latter part from the Lancer Standards) regarding the belt. Gloss white, semi-gloss or lightly weathered. The front and two "boxes" of the belt are made out of plastic. The rest of the belt that fastens at the back of the waist is made out a textile material. The back of the belt has a rectangular thermal detonator box with short grey corrigated hose. The correct thermal detonator greeblies must be attached to the box, the rectangular part of the TD greeblie is the same as used in the rebel endor troopers rank badge, which is fixed on the left side of the TD, on the right the same round greeblie as what is used on the scouts tank topper. Hanging from the sides of the belt are hip boxes, also made out of plastic. These are connected to the belt by textile straps. - The TD box must be secured by one single black tie wrap, to the tubing as seen above. The TD box and tubing is then secured to the belt however a trooper wishes, the main belt is then closed/secured using a velcro over lap much like a TK, with two black twin armed brackets holding each end of the tube to the belt (close to see whats on screen). With a 50mm (2") white cotton or nylon belt secured each end of the hard belt with a single white (this probably needs editing) rivit. Blinking lights or LED's on the belt canister box are not acceptable. Here is a picture of the belt, showing the ONLY rivets that are used on it. (ignore the red circles, that was to illustrate something else). Two (on on each side), at the back end of the plastic belt, securing it to the nylon strap. Hope this helps
