SkaT73
It will be my first... Have read the forums for a while now and have settled on SC for the armor and I'm thinking of KL for the helmet (although the package deal from SC for both is enticing)... I do have a question on the gloves. Does anyone have recommendations? I do have sewing experience (thank you costume shop in college) so I can modify if needed. Other than that I can't wait to start this and apply to the 501st. Also a little background. Dad took me to see Star Wars when it came out, I was 4 (I'm an old guy lol) and have loved it ever since. I always loved the Biker Scout look so when I decided to take the plunge and join the 501st the Scout was a no brainer. Love the community from what I've seen so far. Thanks for any help you can send my way.
Quinxx44
Welcome! I always recommend lurking for a bit while you soak in all the info, but your already ahead there, haha. The SC kit is great. I love mine. Bit of advice, Take the time and do some of panda troopers mods. particularly ther belt. I know it easier to do the rivet method, but it'll save you headaches if you ever want to go lancer. I personally bought my gloves off a recommended ebay vendor, totally forget the name now, and dont know if they are still up Again, welcome and keep us all updated!

stasz
If you're looking for XL gloves, I have an extra pair from Wampa in the trade forum And agreed: Panda's build is the go-to. Lots of cool tricks to get your rig looking sharp! It's a lot to take in, so take your time and have fun. We're here to help, so don't hesitate to ask any questions. Welcome and good luck!

Thanks, my hands are probably too small for the XL gloves, I contacted Wampa and he said that he is about to make a new batch in case anyone needs any. He currently only has XL and XXL left. And yeah I plan on taking it slow and enjoying the build.
