Elastic width for chest sides

On my SC armor, it seems that he holes on the chest sides already there are only 1.5", but the CRL says that it is supposed to be 2". Is there a reason why the SC pieces are at that width ? All the other holes were of the correct size. And the elastic provided is a 2" one (well, I think it's the right one). I know it's not hard to open more the holes, but I would like to know why they're not large enough ???

Because SC isn't affliated with the 501st. They make a great kit & have great service. But they made & molded thier bucks before we had all these hi def pics & could determin the correct sizes of everything. Just open the slot a lil more to fit the elastic.
