Certain color of gray for the snout piece?

Just wondering what shade of gray to use for the snout. I've seen light to dark. CRL shows it lighter tha others so I'm leaning that way.

honestly, I just used Testor Spray Enamel Semi-Gloss Primer and it looked great.

I used primer and I think it looks fine.

Same. I used a Tamiya primer. If you must paint it, go with a matte light grey.

Yeah, I painted the visor bolts the same as the snout.

The colour for the snout /part is 492c using Pantone/PMS system. Its a light grey, the "buttons" on the sides are 2c "cool grey", looks more like bone or off white. thats from LFL star wars sourcbook that a licencee gets.

I know pantone is for the printing industry but Lucas uses that as a standard world wide colour reference
