Rockhop7 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Just wondering what shade of gray to use for the snout. I've seen light to dark. CRL shows it lighter tha others so I'm leaning that way.
JMC Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 honestly, I just used Testor Spray Enamel Semi-Gloss Primer and it looked great. 1
Dart Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Same. I used a Tamiya primer. If you must paint it, go with a matte light grey.
rasman06 Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I used gray primer on the snout and visor bolts Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Cupcake Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I used gray primer on the snout and visor bolts Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Yeah, I painted the visor bolts the same as the snout.
spike Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 The colour for the snout /part is 492c using Pantone/PMS system. Its a light grey, the "buttons" on the sides are 2c "cool grey", looks more like bone or off white. thats from LFL star wars sourcbook that a licencee gets. I know pantone is for the printing industry but Lucas uses that as a standard world wide colour reference 1
