Velcro on the Shoulder Armor?

This may have been addressed in here somewhere, but I couldn't find it, SO:

 

I was wondering if anyone went as far as to attach VELCRO to the shoulder areas of your flightsuit so that the Shoulder Armor pieces stay put? I assume this wouldn't be too hard and it looks like the shoulder pieces move around a bit too much...

 

Just wondering if anyone has had that problem and used Velcro to fix it?

 

(Since she's doing my vest and flightsuit, it'd rel easy for her to add Velcro in that area.

Actually now that I think about it: wouldn't you attach the Velco to the VEST since that would be going over the top of the flightsuit anyways? I think that would be correct...

i think if you attach them by velcro when you move your arms they may bunch up.

I put Velcro at the top of the shoulder bell (not any near the strap) and I have a section on the flak vest which this attaches to, and then I have another bit on the inside of the flak vest AND on the flight suit, so that ALL THREE bits join together.

Yes indeed. My vest has velcro on it to hold the shoulder bell up

I've got a nice, big swath of velcro on my shoulders (closer to the top). My only beef is that occasionally, if I move my arms higher, I hear the "ripping" sound of velcro. Next vest I make will not have velcro as I'm going to the strap method.

I have "hook" velcro sewn onto the shoulders of my vest & the loop stuck on the underside of my shoulder bell. Never once had a problem with any kind of bunching.

There's the common "T-Strap" method so that it attaches to the join of the front/back armor. One piece joining the front/back armor, and the "T" that runs out to your shoulder and connects to the inside of the shoulder bell.

Here is a video I helped out with using my TB and someone else's in my Garrison. On a couple shots you can see the T-strip Todd is talking about. I used the Velcro on the inside of the bell myself.

No, it's not me on the bikes. A couple things to watch out for. We only used one real TB helmet, the other was a motorcycle helmet with white Duck Tape. I was the Sandtrooper with the pauldron and the Tusken Raider (both borrowed and I couldn't see anything).

 

Note on the shoulder bell, we did end up losing one of his on the sand dunes and had to replace it...
