The nose sticker looks odd the hinge bolts are slightly rounded (think of a puppet or stuffed animal plastic eye) I have some Trooperbay decals I can replace them with. BikerScout007 Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 The snout looks okay to me. Do you mean it sits too far down in that groove? I have the DVH/Rottie snout so it was fine. Some of the decals are off but you got the Trooperbay ones so you should be okay. Yeah if the hinge bolts are rounded they need to be changed. My KS was held together with rivets so I just painted some 1 inch aluminum discs and glued them over the connection. I assume the inside is painted black and there is no mesh in the ears? khazara Posted April 22, 2015 Share Posted April 22, 2015 I have an Altmann and plan on going for Lancer at some point. I've already replaced my bolts with the 3M headband kit. The bolts were too short though so I had to do some engineering with some nuts and bolts to make it work. The ears are only painted on, so I believe these have to be opened up. I've had a few small cracks appear on the edge of the squared-off brow/side piece framing the face, and had to replace the bolts for screen accuracy, but it's the perfect size for me and it's very light.
