Tags Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Does any one currently do gloves by commission and on that note will Leather Mystics makes gloves we can use?
Chunk Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Star-Wars-Biker-Scout-Gloves-/201025901281?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item2ece13d2e1 This is what everyone uses. Just check back later if your size is out of stock.
Tags Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 Bet I could get them on Wampa wear... Are there any guides to modifying them? I saw one vid that explained the gauntlet, but I need to know about the gray patches as well... I presume you just remove the rxisting gauntlet and replace it. I think making the new gauntlet will be easy, I'm just not sure about the pads on the back of the hand or around the wrist.
Tags Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 *nods* Sounds good, I'll have to see about picking up a pait of gloves and set to work modifying them
Grumpy Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Hey Chunk, those are Biker Scout gloves on the Ebay site. Tags is looking for Kashyyyk Trooper gloves. And Tags, Bikerchick now inludes the gauntlet greeblies with her Kashyyk Trooper kit. It's included with the rubber parts. I'll try to find a picture of the gloves I have used for other Kashyyyk troopers, in the past.
Tags Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 Sounds good... if I have to I can mod my own gloves... I know a a guy who deald in leather so that will be easy to source... I assume I'll have to modify a pair of existing gloves...
Nuhaatyc Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 The Wampa Wear Facebook page shows a completed pair of Kashyyyk gloves within the last few weeks. I'm not sure if he is selling them on his site though.
missleia Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 The Wampa Wear Facebook page shows a completed pair of Kashyyyk gloves within the last few weeks. I'm not sure if he is selling them on his site though. I asked him and that was the final design. He will start production on the Kashyyk gloves and the SnowScout gloves very soon.
Grumpy Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 The grey rubber "greeblie" on the brown part of the gauntlet still doesn't look correct, though.
Nuhaatyc Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Bikerchick includes the correct glove greeblie in her armor kit, I plan on adding it to the wampa wear gloves to make them accurate.
missleia Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Saw on FB that Wampa Wear has those Kashyyk gloves in stock. Look really good. They also have the Snowscout gloves. Wicked white. https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/t31.0-8/12362821_444805569053654_5342564689117469423_o.jpg https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xlp1/t31.0-8/12356834_444805609053650_8088661654769457023_o.jpg

Could these be approved with minimal mods? I need a pair to finish my Kashyyyk trooper but don't want to pay for something that won't get approved. Thanks
Grumpy Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Anyone? Could these be approved with minimal mods? I need a pair to finish my Kashyyyk trooper but don't want to pay for something that won't get approved. Thanks With minimal mods, yes. The grey part on the brown gauntlet needs to be replaced with an actual rubber gauntlet greeblie. The puffy regular material is not the accurate look. Otherwise they did a good job on the rest of the glove. (I thought you sold that Kashyyyk Trooper that you had.)
forestmoonstudio Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Thanks. No, never sold it (no one interested) so I figured I would finish it.
