4505Marcel
Id say there is better donor boots out there, and the colour and angle where the sole goes in to the stitching isn't great, and will be harder to get the toe trims round and tucked in nice. But they could work, just not the best. Sometime cheap isn't the best option though trooper
Kelsey
I was hopeful, but wasn't sure. It's so tough to find a small size in this boot style that works. Ladies work boots don't seem too popular, and overpriced. Men's boots, no matter how small, are always way too wide for me. I shall move along. Chunk
Kelsy, I would say get those & use til you can find a better pair. For $10 & a couple bucks of vinyl you can't go wrong. They will surfice til a better pair can be found. Plus it can be your trial pair. So when you do find the right pair you will have made all your mistakes on these cheap boots. Who knows they might turn out really good & they become your trooping boots. I was lucky enough to find a pair or womens work boots at a discount store here for $14. That is what I made my wife's boots from. The boots are what I was dredding. But alas they were really really easy to make. Just make a couple test patterns with paper before you comit to cutting the vinyl.
4505Marcel
The width fitting on these type of boots are generally a little wider than a standard show. You can always fill them out with an insole or similar. There is plenty of better boots on eBay UK, so they must have them else where also as they are all made in China. Sizes smaller than a men's 5 would fall into the kids/ youth sizes. Ladies are on there also, but generally are more expensive for the same boot which is wierd. Best to try in men's and see what you are and buy mens for sure
Kelsey
I'm a men's 5, and a ladies medium is too wide for me. So insoles do not make the heel part more narrow. I would walk for 45 min and have blisters. So I'll just have to check out the ladies styles and find a way. Thanks marcel! Ebay UK for my next proper pair.
