Sewing of the elastic/velcro bits?

Is there anyone out there who is familiar with the SC suit and knows their way around a sewing machine?

I was looking for someone I could pay to send my ggodie bag to and have the velcro patches sewn onto the elastic, the webbing, etc.

 

I know these can be done by hand, but I'd like them to be done, and look right.

Chris, I would suggest making a profile on the Star Garrison forums and ask if there is someone who can do it for you local. They would know the costume and it would help you get to know the folks you would be trooping with.

 

That's what I did when I started building my first costume. I posted an intro post and was invited to a few armor building events right away.

 

If that doesn't work - check CraigsList in your area for a seamstress for hire. I've looked into that for my flak vest since all of my local sewing friends are tied up with Celebration builds.

Definitely check co local first. There are guys here that could do it, but the shipping cost would not really be worth it.
