bwattsup
You're doing great Jim. Don't let this be an obstacle towards your completion. A solution will present itself, and you'll have a great costume finished soon. Keep it up! You're getting closer
Retrofire
You're looking great and I've been following you for encouragement (and bleeding stories) especially with my cursed boots . Maybe talk to one of the armorers or Pandatrooper they're all really pros at making the SC armor look awesome no matter what! I still can't wait to see your approval pics so get to work Pathfinder! Retrofire
I snagged mine for $19.00 from the local Kmart. I've sent items to Japan and I know it isn't cheap unless you have an APO.

wookieevader
my new nylon belt arrived today..... I needed more material to finish my belt. is this ok cus this is what I got? The top is what comes from SC and the bottom is my new belt. comments?
wookieevader
ok I added the supplied Velcro supplied by SC to the new belt I have. then I added the strap to the belt. Being one of the troopers that had extra ewok at the BBQ dinner I attached the strap a little farther in.....attached it to the inside of the first box and then I secured it to where the end of the belt is with glue and a pop rivet

wookieevader
ok so I have done some more....not a lot but progress I added some stirrups to the bottom of the flight suit. I used 1 1/2 elastic for the loops and im trying to figure out the belt and drop boxes. here is how one side is setup temporarily have flight suit on so I can see how it looks belt is at my actual waist or maybe a little high
bwattsup
I'd drop the belt to where it naturally rides at the top of your hips Jim. Looks a little high to me from that pic. I thought about doing the stirrup setup on my flightsuit as well, and then decided against it . I just didn't want something to potentially cause a blister when I could keep the pants leg down with velcro inside the boot. Let us know how it works out for you. Guest Forrest Patrol
Your belt should cover the bottom line of the cummerbund
wookieevader
I didn't make my cummerbund yet. Got to get the belt right so i can get the proper length for the soft parts. Also got to get the chest armor right too Sent from my LGLS990 using Tapatalk

Guest Forrest Patrol
Our UK way of being affectionate Barrington = Bazza Gareth = Gazza/Gaz Jim = Jimbo Rebecca = Reb/Becca/Becky @ wookievader - belt should rest on your hip bone or as close to
wookieevader
ok now is the time I ask everyone to check the backside of my suit, should the mudflap be at the suit waistline or where the shorts line is? white line or red line?
