I have been researching for about a month. but hearing how badly certain products (the rubies inc. helmet comes to mind) have been in the mail, I have my trepedations. right now, it looks like Kropserkel is who I'm gonna be going with. but before I press that send button on paypal, is there anything about the Kropserkel armor that I should be worried about? thanks! Na, but i think you'd be better off with SC armor. His turn-around times are quicker and its more accurate then the KS, it may also be less expensive, but im not 100% sure on that. That said, id go with the KS helmet if you want a lightweight ABS plastic helmet. MLC is good for Fiberglass helmets if you like a little more weight to the helmet and a more "real feel" I hear the NI helmet is fairly nice as well, but i have no personal experience with that one, so i cant say anything about it for sure. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I also did see that turnaround times were pretty bad for KS, so I'll check out the sc armor. hope to see you at some joint garrison event! spookymufu Posted March 22, 2015 Share Posted March 22, 2015 as others have reported here, the KS helmet suffers from poor molding, I guess their bucks have had issues for a long time and the pulls have been inferior. lots of people here prefer the SC helmet but I personally dont care for the way they are put together with that ugly seam running around the back of the helmet. I have a MLC and I like it but I dont troop in it so there might be a weight concern but others have posted its no big deal. The NI looks good and from what I saw the one person on here that ordered one didnt have any issues (correct me if I'm wrong guys) and it's also fiberglass The LW is the way to go but good luck getting one, they are harder to get a hold of then leprechauns! Darth Voorhees Posted March 22, 2015 Share Posted March 22, 2015 The KS has the same seem as the SC around the back. They both go together the same. The KS has the "ears" on the faceplate that the SC does not which helps with assembly and accuracy. The SC looks very soft to me and just looks off. The KS i have for my Shadow scout was pulled fairly recently (last year i believe) and looks fine pull wise. As far as i knew they had fixed their molds. By the look of my current KS helmet, id think they did, but one never knows lol. I would agree the LW is the way to go, but i figured he wants to get trooping! Like you said, they are hard to get a hold of, but it would be a great upgrade later on. I didn't notice it until I was trying to line up the faceplate on the crown of the helmet. Nothing huge, but made the build a little harder. The customer service and turn around time from SC was amazing for my armor. I just wish they had a larger helmet. You'll enjoy the build. bugdozer Posted March 22, 2015 Share Posted March 22, 2015 One thing that took me a while to notice about the SC helmet but once you do, it's really obvious - the ridges under the eyes are much less defined than on most other helmets, and certainly less than on the original screen model. Gato Posted March 22, 2015 Share Posted March 22, 2015 Stay away from the KS armor. Shoulders are not accurate, TD is wonky, and belt boxes are enormous. Ask me how I know. I had to end up spending more money to get the correct parts from SC to make it look good. SC is quick turnaround and looks great. As for the KS helmet. Those are the biceps parts on her biceps, and her forarm parts are indeed scout armor, just old inaccurate scout armor.
