So I've been reading through all these threads and still have not found any real tutorials on cutting the armor. Does everyone just go off what ever pics they can find? I have seen a few tutorials for the helmet but not for any like the shins. Am I blind? Could someone point me the right direction? Thanks.

Scouts don't have armored shins. Are you referring to the boots?

As far as cutting the armor, it may require some trimming of the back and chest, perhaps the belt, depending on your body size. There are plenty of build threads on here to check out when you get ready to do your armor.

Hey Jeri,

Most of the Bikerchick armor has cut lines (mostly) the shins are one of the pieces that when you get then assembled you have to gauge how much you are going to have to cut off. You need it to sit on your boot, but be short enough not to be in the way of the knee armor.

You are in good luck, being that you are in Bradenton, Bselph (Brent Selph) lives there as well and is a CB. I am in Brooksviille and I am in the midst of building another CB for my wife. I am at the painting stage for quite a few pieces. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions I can answer.
