I came across a method of creating box seams that would make it about 100 times easier to put pouches together. The difference is, it puts the seam on the middle of the side instead of the corner. I am curious if anyone else make them this way and/or if it is a disqualifier. As you can see, from about a foot and a half away you cannot see the seam without really looking for it.

Note: This is a not a finished pouch, only one I threw together for proof of concept.

I wouldn't pass it myself.

Certainly not for Lancer.

To be honest, I can't see how this method makes it any more or less complicated than doing it the screen accurate way...

(but to be fair... I've never tried it your way!).

Having made several pouches, I can attest that it is quite a bit easier and makes for sharper corners. But I can see why it wouldn't pass with the seam there. I was just curious what others thought.

Agreed with Rob, possibly your GML may clear them, I personally wouldn't. Defo not lancer
