Sith Lord
Hi. I'm Anders. I'm from Trondheim, Norway. I've started my first build. I have bought the SC -armor and helmet. Here I'm glueing the helmet. Sith Lord
Sith Lord
I attached the sticky velcro and I used my sewing machine to sew the hook velcro on the elastic webbing. Sith Lord

Sith Lord
The SC Tank Topper has a predrilled hole for the rivet. But it's not in the center. Sould I use this, ore sould I drill a new hole? Sith Lord
Sith Lord
Here is the hole. Sith Lord
Southscout
It should be where the mark is, not the hole. Also, try to get some distance between the back of the tank and the plate, like 1cm or so. uscstaylor
Sith go here and please follow Pandas thread, it was a great help to me and others. Look at the pics and read the instructions. Chex
That's odd..I know when I built my kit that hole was in the center. Def cover that hole and drill out the center hole and use that.
Southscout
And if you don't have a rivet that's long enough, just pop one, cut of the end, put some glue in the hole, add a washer and drop the short rivet head in the hole. Sith Lord
At last I got my E6000 in the mail, so I finally could glue the tank topper. Sith Lord
Sith Lord
I used some leftover plastic from where the helmet visor sould be, to make a bracket. This is to fasten the rivet that goes trough the tank topper. Sith Lord

Teiwaz
I had the same issue with my tank topper. Its a bit of a mystery why that off centre hole is there. I filled it in and painted it over.

What did you use to fill it in? I've got to do that too...
Teiwaz
Hot glue, just because it was easy to work with. Shaved it back and painted it black by spraying onto a cotton bud. More experienced builders will probably have a better idea but it worked for me.
