Hey Guys,

I just go my SC armor yesterday and this weekend I'm going to start with the knees and elbows. My question is: What is the best way to make the slits in the armor to slide the elastic through. Any help or pictures would be great!

Can one of the admins fix Wats to What's in the title, thanks

Drill holes along the line you need to cut. Then, connect the dots and use a file for cleanup. Works great...;)

And, your title has been updated! :)

I used a dremel but you need to be careful cause it can get away from you. The drilling holes/file method works and yields nice and smooth results.

I have a dremel and it does tend to get away from you if your not careful I'm gonna go to Home Depot and grab a good file and give that a try!

You guys need to learn to control your dremels! LOL! :P

Seriously though, i used my dremel for that. Slow and steady and it worked out perfectly fine :)

Sorry I was late to the party. Spend the last few days moving into a new place. But yeah, dremel. :D

Dont be too proud of this technological dremel you've constructed. The ability to sand an armour is insignificant next to the power of the file. :D One error with the dremel and you'll regret it...

Drill out the pilot holes, Then use a rotary tool with a cutting disc & connect the dots. Use a small file to smooth out.
