Being OCD on my SC

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I haven't posted on here much except for a few posts on supplies I needed, but I have started my build and want to get involved in the community:)

So far I have a SC bucket and armor that I will been building, I ordered one of darth Vorhees rubber blasters, I have one of my good local buddies (chunck on here) doing my soft armor, and I'm going to build my boots.

That being said and the fact that I have posted this on the bucket section probably has you wondering what my point is, and that brings me to my issue, I have hit my first road block and it is on the construction of my SC helmet. I followed all of the instructions that I have come across to build it and did it properly to my knowledge, but my side seams where the face plate meets the back of the helmet is not flush. There is a gap and when I compare them to the screen used helmet the seams do not loot right.

Is this a normal issue on SC buckets and or is there a way to fix this? Or am I just being OCD? There is a pic of my bucketdf4fdf4e8fdef6aa17b462c41138fecd.jpg5f7b82f31b7bf54e3745e8ba9f98860b.jpgd000ef98af40d6cc35915a6460463183.jpg

Yea man they never sit flush. Ive tried it on a few different builds, i was only able to get it really close to flush on the fiberglass MLC3 hlmet. ll the ABS kits will have a little gap there, but so do the screen used, so i think your ok.

I agree with Marcel that ya may have went a bit larger on the earholes, but eh not the end of the world.
