Guest Freddy705
Hello everyone! My name is Frederik and brace yourselves I am completely new to 501st and this way to make armour in general. What im asking for in this thread in general, is instructions on where to start to get everything i need for a approveable biker scout outfit. Have had some instructions in what i need to get and here is what i have thought about so far to get and feel free to suggest what more i should get, and alternativly where to get it from. - Biker scout armour kit (studiocreations) - Deluxe helmet kit (studiocreations) What i am very uncertain about : - Boots (request someone to make?) - Gloves (request someone to make?) - Voice amplifier (have to clue on where to get that) - Flight suit (request someone to make?) - Balaclava - Vest (have to clue on where to get that) If there is anything more i need, please inform me what and from where. Whould greatly appriciate if you who decide to help me, dont use shortened words / links since i am new here today and are not used to the "language" if you can call it that Hope to be a member in the future and i also hope you all have a great and fantastic day
bikerscout73
One of our fellow scouts Cucblack makes awsome vests and flight suits you can find him on the boards. As far as the helmet is your head large or small because SC helmets are pretty small. If you have a big Mellon like me KS or CB helmets
Chef
Welcome... You've come to the right place for asking. There are other Armour types out there, some of which are more accurate in the detail, and some which are a bit 'closer to home'. I'll let everyone else inform you of their opinion. Studio Creations (SC) is good gear, don't get me wrong and Jeff is a stand up guy, so you can't go far wrong with his stuff. There are various people on here that can provide the vast majority of the soft goods you seek. Please contact one of the staff regarding the current state of vendors. Gloves seem to be the only thing that can cause an issue at the moment. Keep an eye out on eBay. Boots, there's a great tutorial on here for making your own, but again, look in the trade section and you'll find people who can make them. Voice Amp. Not entirely necessary, but the Aker Voice amp works well and is pretty cheap. Feel free to drop me a PM if you need anything specific. Or just post it up on here, plenty of people will chime in.

01Hawk
I think before starting out you should consider how much, if any , you want to do yourself, how perfect you want your suit to be and what your budget will be ... Those 3 variables will play a pretty big part in the process. If you can sew or have access to someone who does, you can save a lot of $ because there are excellent tutorials for almost any part of the costume on this site. I have an SC helmet and armor, CB suit cumberbund and vest - both made of very high quality materials, am working on doing my own boots, gloves off eBay from a vendor I don't see selling them right now and baclava is an eBay piece I have for my resident evil costume but there are a ton of options for them. I would prefer to have a CB or MLC helmet though. Nothing wrong with the SC .. Just would like a bigger one
