But I'm sure you're aware that the single point that was used for the Scout blaster was the conical shaped end (Night) version, and not the domed (Day) one. The rounded tip was the first version and the conical version used on the scout blaster is a later one. There were many variations of round and conical tips that were either clear or frosted with either red (usually day) and green (tritium for night) tips. One thing I'll say though, please don't hack off the rounded tip. There's plenty of traders online who'd want a nice early version and might be willing to trade for the correct type found in the SW movies.
