Voodoo Warrior Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Before I start to trim the tank I would like to know; how large or rather how far out should the tank stick out from the back plate armor?
4505Marcel Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I don't believe anyone actually knows exactly, best to just gauge it from screen caps bud
Grumpy Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 As far as you can get it, so you will still have enough room for the tank topper, and still have a little room around that.
comm tech Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 This is the template that I used on two builds. May not be perfect but it is a pretty good start. Both of my kits have been from BikerChick 1
THUNDERCAT Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 This might sound dumb but is that inches? what's 1/8, 1/4, 5/16?
THUNDERCAT Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 wouldn't be easier just to measure in cm's I don't understand but.. the sizing looks great to follow if I could just figure out the measurements.
ferra Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 In my case Took care of the topper positioning first then "guestimated" everything else taking it into consideration: https://photos.app.goo.gl/rjkvPgFCPQoodoxy2
THUNDERCAT Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Luis what's your measurements for the tank please if you could copy the above pics so I can get an idea to start trimming
ferra Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Sorry I didn´t manage to do this before, crazy weekend... Hope to get this done tomorrow, sorry once again...
Bally Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 If it's useful for you Dan, from the top: 15 1/8" = 38.4 cm 5 1/8" = 13 cm 3 11/16" = 9.4 cm 6 5/8" = 16.8 cm 4 1/4" = 10.8 cm 4 1/8" = 10.5 cm 4 5/16" = 10.95 cm Yanks don't do metric
THUNDERCAT Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Thanks Craig That's going to help heaps I did some cutting but.. I will have to get back to tank, later on, I did some trimming and might of cut off too much going to wait and ask a friend to look over the measurements you gave and see what trimming we need to get it to fit. Metrics is easier oh well, Thanks again really appreciate the help
