Before I start to trim the tank I would like to know; how large or rather how far out should the tank stick out from the back plate armor?

I don't believe anyone actually knows exactly, best to just gauge it from screen caps bud ;)

As far as you can get it, so you will still have enough room for the tank topper, and still have a little room around that.

This is the template that I used on two builds. May not be perfect but it is a pretty good start. Both of my kits have been from BikerChick

wouldn't be easier just to measure in cm's I don't understand but.. the sizing looks great to follow if I could just figure out the measurements.

In my case Took care of the topper positioning first then "guestimated" everything else taking it into consideration:

If it's useful for you Dan, from the top:

15 1/8" = 38.4 cm

5 1/8" = 13 cm

3 11/16" = 9.4 cm

6 5/8" = 16.8 cm

4 1/4" = 10.8 cm

4 1/8" = 10.5 cm

4 5/16" = 10.95 cm

Yanks don't do metric ;)

Thanks Craig

That's going to help heaps I did some cutting but.. I will have to get back to tank, later on, I did some trimming and might of cut off too much going to wait and ask a friend to look over the measurements you gave and see what trimming we need to get it to fit. Metrics is easier oh well, Thanks again really appreciate the help :)
