Also, with a scout tank, do NOT attach it with with a screw on the top and on the bottom. The scout tank does not attach with screws. Please use rivets. Quote

Voodoo Warrior Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 Hi Dan!!! Thanks for the heads up on the tank! I was finally able to glue the tank to the back armor. I have not bondo yet. I used your method of the strips but I used abs plastic. I am also using gorilla glue that is clear when applied but then changed into a white frothy foam just like insulation in a can. I think I will add that on inside edge of the tank via the opening in the back armor plate. Quote
bselphfsu282 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Voodoo, I used CA glue with zip kicker, so essentially the same glue. I would recommend reinforcing it from the inside like you said. It helped a good bit. You will have some flex while wearing the piece so it's good to reinforce as much as you can. Quote
