Possible boots?

I found these at Target, they are Mossimo boots. It seems like there is a good enough space between the laces and the front of the boot. The sole will need to be painted though. Let me know what you think or if I should look at others.

They would work if painted, but why not just buy the right colour soles to start with?

Sometimes you can find the Brahma boots from Walmart. I found my boots on ebay after searching for an entire week. We had one garrison member buy Timberlands, but spent a lot on them.

Loads on EBay uk or Europe, just means you have to import them. 95% of my stuff comes from abroad! pain but if it means getting the bits we need small price to pay

Marcel - If you have a good recommendation from ebay can you share?

I went with the Dexter work boots from Payless. After trying on and touching the Target and Walmart shoes I felt these had a better shape and felt more solid with comfort. I'll just need to paint the soles with acrylic paint.

 

I bought the flat shoe laces as the ones that came with them were round:

I don't use any particular seller on EBay, more who has the sizes I need. Just search desert or hiking boots
