EnigmaEngine
It's clean, that's why it looks weird.
Griffin-X
Very interesting and thanks for posting Terry. The greeblie is horrible, although the disclaimer claims: The nose greeblie on the helmet is a replica created later to complete the look, and does not match those seen in the film. Makes me really wonder if it's a "real" helmet or something else...
troopermaster
I fancy going down to see this helmet when it gets exhibited. Might even have a bid on it!
Dart
Very interesting and thanks for posting Terry. The greeblie is horrible, ... Makes me really wonder if it's a "real" helmet or something else... I think it's a real helmet. However, I think maybe it wasn't finished when it was originally sold and whoever bought it added the snout piece. I wish I had the cash. This is only the 2nd helmet, that we know of, that has made it out of the archives.
Oberkisstillalive
you can tell by the shape and form that this one is an original. In the video the narrator says that it was never used and was nearly completed. I can only hope and pray that it falls into the hands of a propmaker :DDDDDD
spike
check out the inner :plastic pressings. looks real in all the right places....nice piece
Chunk
I think it's a lil too much for a prop that was never in the movie. Starting bid is over $6500. One that was actually in the movie would definatley be worth that & more.
ukscout
will be visiting the prop on display after LFCC and will be taking loads of pics

TB-7076
How about a combined effort with Marcel collecting the money and then pass it on to RS with options to get one?
Oberkisstillalive
How about a combined effort with Marcel collecting the money and then pass it on to RS with options to get one? I was about to say that myself!
Dart
I would chip in what I could. We'd need to be sure we had enough to handle the other bids. I'm sure it'll sell for more than it's posted.
TB-7076
Not much time left. There is a page where you can collect for a project and people send in their money. There is a time limit when the critical mass must be reached. If not the contributors get their momey back. I know it works as one garrison mate tried to realize usb sticks in the shape of code cylinders which infortunately failed three times. They needed to reach certain sums/numbers to get in production. They mamaged to collect up to 6.500 $ which was 65% of the needed funds. Let's say everyone contributed about 100 £. We would need at least 1.000 people to contribute to reach a sum worth bidding for some time. Doable but quite a short time to arrange this in the two weeks remaining. Dart
Just an FYI, the auction's live right now. If anyone won the lottery, you've got maybe 30 minutes before the helmet comes up.
Dart
Just sold for 17,000 pounds. Damn.
TB-7076
That's quite sum for that helmet.
Joe Versku
Went to the Vue and saw the helmet. The glass it was behind had so much glare it was difficult to take pix of but I guess Propstore ones are quite detailed. I wonder who got it in the end. Here's what I managed to photo with my terribly inadequate phone
Dart
This might be a good time for an enterprising individual to snag the pics still on the auction website and post them in the gallery... jus' sayin'...
TB-7076
Backed them up already. I guess everyone did . There is an automation already saving any and everything that could be usefull no matter how many pics I already got. I even save pictures and urls of fan armour...even poor armor and parts, possible substitutes etc. If not I probably wouldn't be as vocal about the costume as I am . It's important to know every facett and any bit regarding the costume and its replicas to advise people what to chose and eventually devlop your own rig to the best possible - in case that is one's preference and dedication. I guess the new owner is disclosed right?

TB-7076
I guess like most wouldn't dare to touch their efx which cost 700$, this guy wouldn't let anyone close to this bucket worth 17.000 £. But I'm still curious what kind of people collect these and spend such cash.
Oberkisstillalive
I guess like most wouldn't dare to touch their efx which cost 700$ I am sure someone will. Not me thoughUnless someone is willing to replace it with another...
