Bonded Hawk
I have followed several build threads and did a quick search. I have painted the two tone soles of the boots. 24 hrs later the top layer is still tacky. I used the fusion satin khaki and a pair of payless boots. What can I do, or will it further dry over time. Darth Voorhees
That likely happened because its rubber. Its best to paint anything rubber with acrylic. That said, when that has happened to me i found putting an acrylic clear coat can remedy it. Doesnt always work, but its likely worth a shot. I use krylon matte finish. Comes in a white can and says acrylic coating.

batninja
I painted mine with the same paint (Fusion Satin Khaki), then added a layer of flat clearcoat. It seemed to do the trick.
