So while we are packing i decided to do a test pull of a scout blaster with my lightweight rubber mix. Although i got a few bubbles in the ribbing..the casting is AWESOME. 10.5oz, with ALL parts and rubber! im am SUPER excited about these!

I want to see it thrown down when fully assembled, and see how it stands up... But yeah... Looking good so far!

Nice work, DVH!

Im actually doing that right now! However i had to do 3 pulls to get the technique down to get a bubble free cast and im out of rubber now. lol

So how does the weight of this stack up to the Hyperfirm? Is the composition similar or totally different?

This is 10.6oz, my hyperfirm was 10.4oz, and that was with the aluminum trigger guard i added. :) From what i could tell when i had my hyperfirm, and i wanted to put a metal trigger guard on it, the hyperfirm is a foam rubber of some sort. It collapsed when i tried to screw into it, i had to put a plastic wall molly in it to get it to hold.

These are more solid and can be screwed into no problem. They feel closer to rubber than foam. I also can make them so the main body is regular rubber, and the rest is light weight to add a little weight to it for those who don't want something as light.
