UT Trooper
Hi everyone, I just got my red cap suit in and it feels a bit baggy. Did washing shrink it at all? I will try to post pics next week (going out of town to propose to my girlfriend!) FYI I bought it from Automotive Workwear with ground shipping on Tuesday. Today (Thursday) it was here at my house in Atlanta GA. Fast!
Chunk
They dont shrink. But you can take in the legs about 2" to make them more snug. As for the body it will be covered by the cummerbund & vest.
NegativeEleven
If it helps, I thinned the sleeves by ripping the seam about 8 in up from the cuff and brought em in with snaps so they fit in the gloves better. I'm tall and even the "long" sizes have more torso and less leg than I would like.
BikerScout007
Yeah they are pretty baggy, but they are made to work in so it's something we have to deal with. I bought the smallest size that would fit me (medium), but still had to bring in the legs a little bit.
Chunk
I take in the legs about 2". Very simple, turn the jumpsuit inside out & start at the crotch & sew inward at a slight angle & down about an inch from the edge. This will in turn be about 2" total since you will be sewing both sides at once. You will not have to make any other alterations from the riding patch or elastic bands.
