Alianin
I'm seeing conflicting information and I'm confused. What exactly is called for for size and type of strap under the arm?
BikerScout007
"2. Shoulder bridge Straps attaching front and back armor should white cotton webbing. Nylon webbing is not acceptable- Side under arm chest/back straps should around 45mm (1 3/4") white webbing ( off white if using off white pouches/drop boxe straps), but for trooping practicality, place elastic on the ends hidden by the armour." Alianin
So the same as the front/back shoulder gap pieces and drop box straps?
Dart
Technically, the drop box straps are 1.5". I thought the requirement was made smaller than 45mm for the chest/back junction?
Alianin
And the confusion continues. The CRL on the 501st site says 2", though I guess that could be outdated.
Dart
I know there was a discussion earlier this year about amending that width. I thought it had been changed.
BikerScout007
"Around 1 3/4" was what it was changed to. It used to be 2 inches but that is way too wide, just looking at screenshots. It also helps not to have to buy several different types of strapping.
